Introduction and Mission Statement

Welcome to my new blog! I am so excited about this new endeavor. I began my career as a dietitian after having worked in the restaurant business for years. I love food, and I love serving others.

My intention for this blog is to use it as a medium to share knowledge of food, health, and science. I welcome comments and questions, and would like this forum to lend itself to evidence-based nutritional discussion, cooking hints, and tips for overall health and well-being.

My philosophy is that food should be savored and enjoyed. I also believe that we should be mindful and grateful for the amazing benefits that come from eating wholesome, fresh foods.
